Keep Balance

Take an Exercise Break

Be alert, take a stand and just move on – don’t give any excuses. Rather than sitting and talking over a cup of tea or coffee, it is better to take a break for exercise. To begin with, getting into the groove may be quite difficult, but beginning slowly will help. Remember 20 to 30 minutes of walking six days a week can make you great within a few months.

Nowadays it is difficult to pay heed to pretty small things as everyone is so busy that the task as simple as keeping the phone aside seems a bit difficult. Breakfast is very important for several reasons. Drink Adequate Water

Many people resort to taking unhealthy soft drinks to fulfil their water requirements, but their usage is linked to type 2 diabetes, stomach issues and obesity. If you find it difficult to drink plain water throughout the day, then add lemon, lime or orange juice and have it.

Learn Something New

There are many things that you can do to keep your brain fit and healthy. Go for a walk, exercise, listen to soothing music or learn a new skill – such as painting, designing, arts and crafts or master a new language. When you start learning a new skill your brain becomes active and slows down the effects of mental disorders and age-related diseases such as Alzheimer’s. Thus, you will remain fit and healthy in the long run.

Smoking is the mother of all illnesses and insomnia or sleep disturbances is one such side effect of smoking. Those who smoke regularly become susceptible to cold infections, allergies, sinus issues, snoring and sleep apnea. The best bet to cut down the ill effects of smoking is to quit it as early as possible. The moment a person quits smoking, their blood pressure and heart rate drop. And within a few months, they become healthy.
