Chronic Pancreatitis is a disease in which the pancreas gets inflamed. The pancreas is responsible for releasing several enzymes that help in digestion of the food we eat. During chronic pancreatitis the release of these enzyme becomes difficult that leads to severe pain in the abdomen, nausea, fever and vomiting.

Beside clinical treatment, proper nutritional dietary care is also very important for a person suffering from chronic pancreatitis.

Fresh vegetables and fruits are a very important part of pancreatitis diet. Yogurt should be a part of the meal daily. The live bacteria in yogurt help to maintain the healthy digestive system.
