World Haemophilia Day, 17th April 2019
Every year World Haemophilia Day is organised worldwide on 17th April to increase awareness over haemophilia and other inherited bleeding disorders. Many people who have a bleeding disorder are not getting the right kind of health care they need to lead a healthy & quality life.
This year World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH) organisation coming up with the theme “Reaching Out: The First Step to Care,” i.e. reaching out and identifying undiagnosed people with the bleeding disorders and taking care of those people. The increased awareness comes with better diagnosis and access to care for the millions who remain without treatment.
